Acupuncture helped me deal with all of my symptoms: pain, nausea, depression, dizziness, sensitivity to light etc. However, it was a temporary relieve, only lasting a few hours to a day. I used this treatment for 5 years and spent a lot of money. I don't think it is worth the money. If insurance pays for it than it might be worth it, but there are so many other options for symptom relief that last longer and are more effective.
Max is my Naturopath and has been a wonderful partner in maintaining my health prior to the accident. I began acupuncture about a month after my accident. It was relaxing and helped relieve some of my headache pain, but the relief only lasted a few days. I continued these treatments for about a month before trying something new.

A gift from heaven. Manual therapy is good but it only goes so far. With an invasive form of therapy such as acupuncture, it releases the knots and tension build up in a totally different way. For me, using acupuncture needles around the neck and shoulders helps with my vision and dizziness symptoms. Like many others, I suffer from Bruxism (teeth grinding) and this just locks up my jaw. The most effective way to release the tension is, acupuncture
Inner Springs Center for Health Acupuncture (Esther Platner) has been one of the most effective treatments in my recovery. We are all energy and this treatment along with others go hand in hand. Acupuncture has helped relieve my symptoms over the years such as: migraines, nausea, inflammation, hormone imbalance and health in general. Our bodies remember trauma and acupuncture has helped me release the trauma from all my concussions. It all depends on the acupuncturist. Like in any profession their are some people who are experienced and others who aren’t. I was lucky to have such a spiritual and grounded acupuncturist to treat me the last eight years.
